Thank you for contacting us regarding the price of Cadbury confectionery. Currently the recommended retail selling prices for Cadbury Wholenut is £0.59 - 49g / £1.42 - 120g / £2.25 - 200g / £4.23 - 360g.
Due to Competition Law restrains manufacturers are only able to recommend to retailers a price at which their products could be sold, but the final decision ALWAYS rests with the retailer. Any 'Recommended Retail Price' or “RRP” that Cadbury suggests is purely a guide and it is the decision of the stores or individual shopkeepers to decide upon a final retail selling price. We can only suggest that consumers 'shop around' to achieve the best value.

We do very much appreciate and value feedback from our consumers andI do hope you will continue to purchase and enjoy our confectionery. Thanks again for contacting us.

I don't intend to shop around, when the urge to gorge on chocolate takes me.I just want fill my belly with a bar that cost a £1 the last time i went in and now costs £1-29,the price printed on the wrapper and not set by the owner of the shop.Ttttthats all folks.I have eaten my last Whole Nut.
Now dairy Milk is still a £1,

Buy a bag of nuts and a bag if raisins. Squish them into slightly melted chocolate. Will be much cheaper.

I refer you back to my reply in your previous gripe postie.

The whole nut chocolate was on promotion at £1 and normally sells at £1.42 in some supermarkets. Our offie at the end of the street is undercutting some supermarkets by selling at £1.29 but it's still to be had at £1 at some supermarkets.

The Dairy Milk bar currently selling at £1 will not always be sold at a pound but will revert to its 'normal' price when the stock of promotional stock is depleted. Waitrose down the Road and Sainbury's up the road are also selling the bars a £1.

It looks like you'll be on a chocolate free diet soon when the £1 bars run out.

There's much more important things to gripe about at the end of the street like the lack of a pork pie source now that the butchers has closed down.

On reflection, Postie, I think you should be buying Green and Blacks white chocolate - you can pay £2.50 for a large bar round our way.

Green and Blacks White chocolate mmmm......... :mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig::mrpig:

I wait until Waitrose have it on promotion at two bars for three quid and stock up to see me through the subsequent price rise until the next promotion.
