I have risen!

Got my Dad visiting later.

Good morning from a still, grey Dorset. A yellow warning of fog, but none here, probably nearer the water. Green bin today and it's almost full following my work in the garden yesterday. I still struggle to find stuff in the kitchen, 20 years of muscle memory in opening a particular cupboard for a plate, and drawer for cutlery has been reset, and as Mrs Tkk is still experimenting with the arrangement meaning that every day is like an episode of the " Crystal Maze "
Picked up a can of wood treatment from B+Q yesterday evening so today will be garden bench painting, and other shed contents to move from one pile to another ( I still won't be able to find stuff)
Have a peaceful day folks ☀️☕️🦔

Re buying new or second hand cars. The ex Motorbility cars always looked good value as maintenance was part of the deal. These cars were available to recipients of mobility Allowance You gave up the allowance in exchange for a car.
There was a garage near me who sold ex mobility cars

We binned off motability because I wasn't happy about the way they maintained them! Their tyre skimping in particular left the car feeling vague and remote at motorway speeds.

The last service at 3 years for many cars is a major one, coolant, neake fluid, slimline salad dressing. Motability don't spend the money, just give them an oil and filter change and send them to auction.

Mrs D now leases through a scheme for civil servants andnits less expensive anyway, so really no incentive to go back.
