The Sleeper train starts at Inverness and travels down via Edinburgh. I think it picks up the west coast sleeper in Glasgow and then heads down to KingsX ( I've travelled on both in the past, but the current fares are taking the mickey. I can travel first class and stay a night at a hotel for a similar price.

So Granddad popped a message in the Family WhatsApp, "What will #2SP have for her tea?"
Now the experienced parents/grandparents amongst you will know the correct answer to this. Especially when one's staying in their house!!!!!
DIL replied "Oh, a bit of pasta. Whatever you can get in her."
This is not the expected reply. Granddad has now meal planned three nights for 20 month toddler. He's made a shopping list! 🤣
I'm pleased to say #1 son got the hint. Another WhatsApp arrived; "I'll leave you a cottage pie for Tuesday. What can I get in for Wednesday and Thursday?" 👍👍
He's also sent an instructional video on how to open the kitchen cupboard childlocks.........though I think it was a mistake letting the toddler observe how to open them!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Still overcast here and feeling very raw. Almost like a November day. Just back from the Co-op for a few things.
If it remains overcast and the rain arrives as forecast, I can see a siesta on the cards for the afternoon.

I am Irish catholic from birth too. but dont give a fiddlers f==k about the church , too many paedo priests and hypocrisy , spent years as an altar boy serving mass ( my mother was reverent catholic ) nothing i heard or saw endeared me to them .
