:hello: Afternoon
letter from the BBC "WILL YOU BE IN ON THE 21ST OF MAY"
and that was no the outside of the envelope
nice of them to let me know when to be out.
I would like to tell them to do one, but I suppose that would now be classed as "hate speech" and end up inside.

I would answer the door, confirm you don’t need a licence and tell them you feel they are harassing you.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
The bin is here. 2 cups of tea and a whole packet of biscuits later......

My son put Linux Mint on an old Windows laptop that was extremely slow and now its extremely fast. Think he downloaded it from Univ of Kent ? if I remember correctly

I put Cinnamon on my old w10 laptop & it gave it a new lease of life until several letters stopped working so I bought a new Dell (with W11 pre-installed) and installed Ubuntu. So nice to use instead of Windows..
Unfortunately, MrsPete wouldn't get on with Linux (don't ask..)

Done some more form filling for the student loan for my OU course. I don't know why they make me bother as I wont be paying a penny of it back, but you can't fight city hall.

Being disabled (dyslexia and limited use of my right hand and arm) I've also applied for a DSA assistance grant, for which I may or may not qualkify. The Revenue have had enough cash out of me over the decades so the way I see it is it's about time I got something back from the thieving gits.
