I've made another tea cake loaf, it's in the oven now.

I’m quite sure we will follow suit. If the government get their way we will work till we drop and never get a pension.

The important bit is that WE won;t be working till we drop as we have given up working already


rot started when Gordon Brown fiddled with teh pension tax rules which made final salary pension schemes non-viable (or something)

which is what will stop my wife's son retiring until he is old
but that has a knock on that he doesn;t see any point in planning for retirement mas he can see how it could happen!!!

Off for a wander round to the Co-op. I need tomatoes and coleslaw and will no doubt find other stuff I fancy when I’m there.

sorry to bring this up again, but I have just filled in a declaration for the 25% discount for single council tax payments on-line
it's worth £175.............
In contrast I do the same with the bloody BBC and get 11 years of hell and threatening letters,m yet it's around the same price

Oh and my cake is done to perfection

Corned beef hash for lunch. Corned before, mash, a bit of diced onion, a small handful of peas, a pinch of pepper, mix it to buggery and eat it. Yummy yum yum.
