I’m sure my optician took £35 for that!

…..and that’s the rain on. If I was tired I would try going back to bed but it would be a waste of time. I just can’t seem to get more than three or four hours sleep these days.

Should of gone to Specsavers 😃 ........or so the ads keep telling me. Yes, it is £10 at Specsavers. There is a possible history of glaucoma on my father's side of the family, his father could hardly see without a magnifying glass but I was too young to know the cause. I'm treated for raised eye pressure so I like to have everything I can to keep a watch on these things.

Awake early here as well but I was asleep by 9.30.

Morning all. It's due to be a very wet one.
A very broken sleep due to the continual need to pee. Since packing in the alcohol I am drinking reddiculous amounts of milk, cordial and water with the odd coffee or tea thrown in.
So I wake evert 2 hours for a pee (enjoy that) then bo back to a deep sleep.
Mainly a TV day although I have just started a novel by Stuart Macbride which is rather good.

Most of the really heavy rain missed us, but it is trying at the moment.
The kids and their respective partners are coming over for a BBQ this afternoon, the forecast looks OK for later.

Good morning. My official arrival for the day. You know like the king has a birthday and an official birthday. The random thoughts that strike me are a worry.

It's a beautiful morning but heavy rain forecast from 9.00. We had very heavy rain for hours last night. Our neighbour's gutters overflowed again. I sleep at the back of the house, Mrs P the front. With the window open I can hear every drip. I must unblock the down spout for him.

When Mrs P became ill I moved beds to ensure we both sleep properly. That must be 12 months now, possibly much longer. I'm not sure I'll be able to move back to "our" room when I'm alone. Sorry. That's today's bad thought done with.

Onwards. Well, guess. Eye test at 9.30. I must remember my bank card. I planned allotment work. That will now depend on the weather. Beyond that I don't have a plan.

Cooooeeeee. 14 deg here and raining. It's not ncie at all. We are due more rain during the day as well.

Good decision not to risk going out. It’s really heavy rain here now so I just hopped on the Wattbike and did an hour on Zwift instead.

PJs back on as there’s no point getting dressed until later this afternoon when I am going up for a haircut at 4pm.

Tip run first thing to drop off 2 dumpy bags worth of hedge trimmings. Got a bit of shopping to pick up on the way back.
Waiting to hear from my best mates missus, as she had hip surgery at 0600 this morning and should be out of theatre by now.
Hoping all went well for her.

Surgery at 0600 and on a Saturday? Was this NHS?
I had a shoulder op done privately and it was earlyish around 0800 but that seems very much so.

Bruce walked. Its super humid out there. I limited his intense exercise to 2/3 the normal level so as not to overheat him.

After being bitten on the leg by a creepy crawly and ending up in Hospital on IV antibiotics last year Im sticking to long trousers, but the downside is little respite from the mugginess.

I think she was referred to a private hospital by the NHS.
I could be wrong though.

Yes, exactly the same here except I wanted to add the OCT scan for £10.
