Inflation stuck at 3.4% which doesn't really tally with our own domestic figure which is much higher.

But, more importantly, chocolate prices are increasing at an even higher rate! How much is my favourite Aldi 85% cocoa chocolate going to cost now? It has already almost doubled in price in the last couple of years!
Agreed. I don't run spreadsheets in the way I suspect you do but, yes, I see all our weekly and monthly costs continuing to increase inexorably.

As for Aldi chocolate. It's delicious but keeps going up and up and up.

It's interesting I've noticed the quality of some Aldi products declining as the company tries to maintain its market position. Washing up liquid is a good one. The own brand is nothing like what it was. The 1.5 litre bottle of Fairy is now much better value.

Inflation at the end of September is the one I keep my eye on for pension increase.

1.5 ltr, sounds like a lot of washing up liquid.
