As we have big trees in the garden, we are overrun with the bloody things, flying vermin. If we lived somewhere a bit more rural I’d dig out my air rifle and shoot them.

Got a load of them drunk a few years ago, they seem to stay clear of the garden now.

Happy Paul. 44 miles. 4068 feet climbed. Almost the golden ratio. Average 12mph. Birdy Brow proved better than I recalled. Paced myself very well up a big, big climb.

It's 21 deg here. Lovely....

33 degrees c outside and 28 in our lounge at the moment . It’s a little uncomfortable here in the midlands today. 😀
We had a few drops of rain and it was cloudy this afternoon, but the sun been out for a couple of hours and it’s definitely H.O.T. warm at the moment.
It’s supposed to be only up to 23 degrees tomorrow afternoon, which would be good as we are at the sailing club, helping new members get on the water after the race. 😀

We've had an Indian takeaway. Didn't really enjoy it to be honest but Mrs P wanted one. She ordered TWO curries for herself!!! 😲

We're sat in our summer house on the allotment listening to the birds, watching the lightning and listening to thunder. I have a cold Guinness zero and the Guardian crossword.

We've had an Indian takeaway.

In my experience with an Indian or Chinese takeaway the anticipation is always greater than the reality. Always feel that the food is average and we’ve been ripped off.

We have a lovely pizza place just down the road which is the only takeaway these days we have. Always 10 out of 10.
