Food of the gods. A cricket ball sized ball of mushy peas dipped in batter and deep fried. Crunchy on the outside, moist and peppery on the inside and high in protein😎

I enjoy a good  pee pea but that seems too much for me.

Mushy peas are an abomination. Marrow fat peas boiled to oblivion, died green and served up as haute cuisine. Yuk.🤮

In general I like mushy peas. But once during Covid times we had the British moth nationals at chelmarsh sailing club near bridgenorth. They wouldn’t let us camp so we booked rooms at a nearby pub and campsite, the rooms were good and the food was ok and plentiful . The last night I ordered fish and chips with mushy peas which Mrs exlaser had earlier in the week and had been impressed with it . When mine came , the fish and chips were great. But the mushy peas, well what I got was a small pot of green water 😂 . I kid you not, there was no sign of any peas , mushy or not . 😂😀.

As you may have noticed from my comments over the last year or so , I havnt been feeling the love with my sailing .
Well I’ve decided to do something about it , boat gone away for a small repair and when it comes back it will be put up for sale and I will buy something else.
So I havnt sailed for the last two races and I am really starting to get itchy feet again , think I will have to take out one of the club boats on Wednesday evening .
Perhaps I still love this sailing lark after all 😀😀
