Enjoyable women’s quarter final. Too late to catch the end of the cycling but just watching the follow up.

Hooked it up to a drip feed and got the Barracuda started for the first time this afternoon. 2nd kick and it fired up. :okay:
It sounds very 'crisp' but needs a carb rebuild kit, as the float needle is mullered and it's peeing out fuel.
Parts ordered. Should be here by the weekend.

So, after much faffing and cursing the weathervane is up. Getting rawl bolts in and holding was the issue. I won't bore with the details but it was a hassle. Fingers crossed it stays there next storm. As can be seen, I wasn't exaggerating about height. For the eagle eyed the top but not in yet.

Just back from a nice circular walk from East Quantoxhead to Kilve Abbey.
Very pleasant, with a nice cuppa in the abbey gardens half way around.

Lovely! My sort of walk these days, having gotten tired of flogging up and down mountains over the past couple of years.

I have done everything 'high' in the UK that I really wanted too.

You're Alan Millyard and I claim my five pounds

Had to Google him to see who you were referring to.

Must admit it does worry me a bit how poorly I sleep these days, but I just don’t seem to get very sleepy and even when I do drop off, a few hours seems to do me and I can’t get back to sleep. Maybe I should just accept I am one of these people who don’t need much and try to stop worrying about it.

I am the same and dont worry about it . I sleep during the day , nod off in a chair etc . Garmin watch warns me my body battery is very low and " you may feel very tired today " etc keep off tea , coffee and tv and pc screens before bed helps a bit
