when I looked at the forecast this morning it said cloudy but no rain
or at least chances of it less than 30%

but we have it

weather radar suggest it will be short lasted!

Morning all

I think I've got my new phone set up now, but what a palaver!
The initial set up was straightforward - copy a QR code and let the new and old phones communicate with each other; it's some apps that caused problems. Either they were incompatible or they required numerous hoops to jump through in order to sign in.
The new one signed me out of all my cctv, NSI, banking, music and video apps, as well as PayPal & Ebay amongst others.

Coincidentally I got a new phone yesterday. The old one was still working ok but it's quite a small phone ( iPhone 13 Mini ) and while I really love the size my eyes aren't quite as sharp, plus the compact size affects battery life.
I was quite impressed with the setup, just setup transfer contents point the camera of the new phone at the swirling cloud that appears on the screen of the original and let it work its magic. Enable face recognition on the new phone and then all my log ins worked perfectly 😎

Bigger the better for my eyes. I think mine is a 14 pro max or whatever the biggest screen is. Hardly use the thing, but it’s almost expected that you will have one these days.

I’ve stuck the cycling on. It might be quite an interesting day.

It's taking 8 hours on the train.

When Mrs Tkk and I walked the Great Glen Way we caught the overnight sleeper from Inverness to Kings X. It was the old rolling stock, the restaurant / lounge car stayed open really late and we both slept well. Looked at the sleeper again recently but the prices have increased loads.

I need a blood sample taken as a follow up to my hospital treatment. Its all by appointment now and the local 'hub' couldn't fit me in for 2 weeks.
Phoned the Doc and (providing I called for a form, which I did) I have an appointment for Saturday morning.
Amazing.

Farm Foods anyone ?
I have mentioned them before.
Just called in and picked up 7 meals for 20 quid. They are recognised makes like Bisto and Sharwoods and are all tasty.

Good afternoon. Cool, breezy, the odd shower and sunshine. Mrs P has gone to play croquet. #2SP is sound asleep. She does hum a bit......well a lot really. I'm expecting a poo tsunami when she wakes. Nappy and wipes at the ready!!!!

Coincidentally I think I need a new phone as well. Battery life has dropped significantly, it frequently drops/forgets all saved WiFi networks. I need to run a factory reset but I've discovered some items appear not to save in the backup. I must find time to investigate.

Jeez, these adverts on ITV 4 seem to be every 5 minutes. Seriously annoying.

We have had several very heavy showers. At least the house is a lot cooler.
