So we went to Chorley Flower Show. It was very good though #2SP wasn't impressed. She had a two hour tantrum........the sort that has everyone within 100 yards looking at you and tutting.

We're home now. She was quite happy until I took the little caddy we use for compostable kitchen waste away from her. She'd carried it from the kitchen to the front room. We now have another full on tantrum..........which we've decided to straight out ignore 🤣

Best way - remove anything they can hurt themselves on but ignore them

but you know this - I'm just reminding you that you are right

Reminds me of shopping many years ago with my daughter - who would have been 10 or so at the time

We passed an aisle and in it was a toddler have a full blown tantrum in the middle of the floor
a woman - presumably her mother - was just sitting on the floor a few feet away reading a book

everyone was just avoiding that aisle

I walked down it with my daughter - there was room to pass the kid - and said "well done" as I passed
she looked up and smiled - but looked very stressed
my daughter asked me why I did that and I explained

a short while later we passed the mother and daughter later - just happily walking round shopping now

Good morning folks, as Mo said, it's certainly getting early later. A tidying up day today as the plumbers are due tomorrow and the airing cupboard needs decluttering. Mrs Tkk bought one of those Ninja Foodi 11 in 1 jobbies that she'd been using while staying in London. The design in pretty ingenious but I'm not convinced, it's not as easy to use as our Sage mini oven / air fryer and the high speed fan is reminiscent of a jet engine spinning up its turbo. My hopes of it being a five minute wonder were dashed when a delivery of baking add ons arrived yesterday.
Anyway, time for coffee and a dig in to how to watch the TDF Femmes without a subscription.

Good morning all.
There is a minor disaster in the kitchen, we are down to the last 4 tea bags, I don't know how this could happen. A bike ride beckons to get some tea from the shop when it opens later on. :cuppa:
It looks grey out there at the moment, but there is ni rain forecast for today.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Some questions, if I may be so bold.
1. Is just anyone allowed to 'potter' ?
2. Are there any rules for pottering ?
3. Where can the 'pottering' instructions be found eg is there a pottering handbook I can send for ?

A. Anyone is allowed to potter.
B. There are no instructions or manuals to go by.
C. You can potter anywhere, anytime.
D. There are no rules when pottering.

I hope this clarifies pottering.
