My sister in law lives in San Sebastián but comes from La Rioja, always brings a few bottles of something sublime when she visits.

We had 2 marvelous nights there, in a hotel, with our room overlooking the bay/town. Good memories from that.

Discovered that volunteering can be quite profitable!
I have been volunteering withe AGe uk - helping Old People use computers
anyway - met up with the organsier today and it turned out that one of the people I helped had left a present for me
bottle of presecco, large box of Heroes, box of nice chocolates and a bag of sweets that thegrand kids will like
and this afternoon there was a BBQ for all of us volunteers to meet up
naturally, as it was a BBQ, the weather co-operated and it was chucking it down and it added thunder and lightning into the mix just to make a point
as a result at the end the number of people who came was less than expected
and was the only person there that had to avoid gluten
anyway they said the remaining food was going spare and anyone who wanted to could take come home
most people got a sausage roll and a cup cake
as the burgers had "Gluten Free" on them I was told to take the whole pack
plus the GF cakes
plus the GF burgers buns and other GF bread rolls
quite a haul for the day!!
