Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Ah....so you've noticed that his left hand is bigger than his right, as well?
I came to a different conclusion.......

I bet you did.

Good morning. 'Tis dull and grey here. There is allotment work to do but everything is soaked after last night's downpours. I was in Manchester and the rain was biblical. My right knee is stiff, very stiff, serious stretching is next on the agenda. We had a good ride yesterday but one way and another I was quite sedentary for the rest of the day which often causes it to swell.

A solo night out in Manchester for me yesterday to see the legendary Roy Harper at the Bridgewater Hall. He's 84 now and the voice is as powerful as ever. Roy Harper? You ask? I don't quite know how to describe his work, lets say folk-rock writer, poet and singer. A great night and Roy was accompanied by his son Nick, a very accomplished guitarist. I was very surprised on yesterday's club ride that five of the eleven riding were going to the same gig.........I suggested club kit but didn't get any takers

Looking back I need to catch up in here. Possibly with my lunch..................

Barnet,
I used to listen to Roy Harper a lot many years ago.

I remember seeing Roy Harper in Oxford when I lived there many moons ago..

The first time I saw Roy Harper was when he was the support to Genesis at Knebworth in 1978. I became a fan of his style and have seen a dozen or so times since.
