Morning all 
So, the Budget has come and gone.
Over the past 55 years, since I left school, I can't say that the budgets have made any real discernable difference to my life.
We earn; we spend.
Politicians come and go, budgets are tinkered with, each successive one 'putting right' the 'disaster' the previous government left behind - funny how none of them can get it 'right' and yet, somehow, the average Joe just plods on regardless, pretty much unaffected by it all. Sure, we all have a moan about things but can anyone honestly say that we're not generally better off than we we're 50 years ago.
It's all smoke and mirrors - basically bo**ocks.
I've lost interest in politics; they can all go feck themselves. I'll just carry on as I've always done.

If it is a tax rebate, I would expect the description to include HMRC, if heating allowance DWP
Interesting read, all before my time of course.
Mostly before mine, but he played the Attik in the 80s, which was very much my time there 🤣

We are off to the cinema this evening for a "Theatre Live" thing
It is called 5th Step and I am informed that it is good - no idea about what it is about but they are normally good or great!
anyway - there is some muttering about going to see her sister this afternoon - and some mention of M&S food shopping
so I'm guessing that a ride is out!
bike needs a clean anyway - it was too dark, cold and wet to do much when I got back last night

Do any of you use those additional smelly pellets or liquids which I understand are to make your bedding smell super flowery ??
I use Aldi washing powder and Aldi conditioner. I am happy with the results but the adverts to make me wonder if the extra smelly stuff helps.

No.. It's just another advertising ploy to divest you if you hard earned pennies.

However, since my wife has started feeling better and has started doing more herself then it appears that other opinions have surfaced
personally I would not even use conditioner
but apparently this is wrong
possibly the fact that my sense of smell is very very bad has something to do with it
Dirk, Re' your comments on budgets etc. I do and have always felt the same.
In the pub yesterday lunchtime my friend had one eye on the TV and was commenting/complaining on every statement. He seemed quite knowledgeable.
I said there is sod all you or I can do whatever these politicians decide so imo just let them get on with it and stop worrying.
As I say, that's only my opinion and my opinion is probably worth little.
