We've been there several times, it's a nice place.

Good morning all.
A cloudy, dark start to the day here.
I'll finish off the wrapping of presents and the kitchen floor needs washing, so along with a few other domestics and all the usual stuff to do i don't think I'll get out on the bike today.

Coooeeee. 10 deg here and apparently its foggy as well but it'd too dark to tell.

I will be doing a lamb casserole in the slow cooker

I've said before, when you do it, I love slow cooked lamb. I dont like fat but it disappears and you just get the flavour.

Looks a decent day and forecast for this week looks good and it's getting colder for Xmas which is the way it should be.
A few chores then weights session later.

Is it me or was it very dark this morning? I woke at 07.40 and assumed it was still night time, if that makes sense.
I have a really quiet day in store so will watch some TV I've recorded.
I am joining @Oldhippy this morning (and others) in having porridge for breckie....when i wake up.

Morning all

Been on my 'winter' breakfast for a few weeks now - porridge, cinnamon and prunes all mixed together.
MrsD has porridge, nutmeg, honey and raspberries.
Off to Tesco this morning for a final pre Christmas shop and dropping in on a mate on the way back, who has sorted out a load of Bantam spares for me.

Poor buggers on the canal in Whitchurch. Those boats are going to be a nightmare refloating from a sink hole.
