It's surprising how far a small tina tuna goes.

I thought I'd do 'a' sandwich, ie, two slices, butnit easily did four slices, and generously at that. Mixed in the teated cheese, 20 minutes under the grill, and voila! Won't need much for tea tonight.

I used to mix the tuna with mayo and chopped onion......how did you do yours

Now here's a thing. Its genuine ie I'm not posting.this for laughs.
My FB highlighted a 'problem' called micro-penis.
Apparently it affects 1 in 200 up to 1 in 600 men...... they can't be certain as many men dont report it.
It listed some (to me obvious) side effects.
I've read about the opposite problem but never thought of this one

Just had a survey request from YouGov so I did it

some of the question had clearly been made by "a young person"

questions like "have you ever bought xxx from a physical store"

err well yes
how do you think someone of my age bought anything 30-40 years ago?????

Was that question not qualified with a timescale eg (say) in the last x years?

If no, it makes me doubt you.gov

No- that was the problem
jsut "have you ever bought this from (a) online (b) click and collect and(c) from a shop"

or something like that

it is either done by someone who doesn;t really think it through

or someone who is looking for a way to produce results that match what they want

When I was training to be a teacher we had to do a "dissertation" - it wasn;t really - it was shorter but still a big piece of work for the course

anyway - we had to include a survey
one of the other had done a degree that included a course on how to do surveys that would produce proper unbiased results
He wrote a formal complaint to the department about how they were teaching the course in this area and the lack of guidance on how to do it

Surveys and how to do them properly is a complex subject which most people have no clue about

They didn’t , we did by voting for politicians that didn’t value these things 🙁

Good afternoon folks. An 08:30 dental appointment saw me on the bus at 07:55. One of those rare occasions which saw everything go smoothly and I arrived back home at 09:05 with a pat on the head from my Dentist Dr Annetta and a clean bill of health 😀.
"Second Friday" saw us meeting up with friends at the Goat and Tricycle for a meal and a couple of pints followed by an excursion to the Barking Cat for a couple more. An interesting ale from the excellent Tartarus brewery based in Leeds, a cloudy rye based beer with a very pleasant if stormy appearance. A bit late posting today as the warmth of the sofa after returning from my very chilly excursion saw me drifting off into a pleasant doze.

I used to know a bloke who did a lot of mountain walking including in winter

He said that wearing ladies tights under trousers was great for insulation

his girlfriend commented that he got her to buy them for him!!!
They can lead to some awkward questions when you're being giving immediate treatment prior to being loaded into the ambulance.
As one lad who'd tried the Japanese Foot Brake to slow/stop himself going downhill, on fresh snow hit the wall the snow was hiding from view.

It was eight miles to the nearest road, and guess who ended up carrying an extra rucksack?
