Mo, do you have a co-op card ? I have just ordered one but have no idea what the discounts are like.
I have an Tesco card and they give decent discounts but only on certain items. TBH I hardly ever go as Aldi is much easier to get to.
Be aware there are two different Coop cards in England. This is because there are two different Coop companies. Don't ask. I don't know.

I pass a new Coop regularly and have been using it. My card has never worked. I asked the girl one day and she told me that's the wrong card for here. I looked at her and she explained there are in fact two different Coops. I haven't got round to learning more.

63 miles. Glorious. Mainly in very pleasant warm sun but the last 90 minutes when the sun disappeared was chilly, very chilly.

I'm a very happy Paul.

Only 28miles but in lovely sunshine. Was planning a longer ride but my mate had to get back. Probably just as well as after we parted ways near the end he got a puncture. If we'd done a lot more miles sorting out becomes more of a chore when tired.

A walk was walked, blood pressure down,i was outside of the house in the sun a lovely fresh air,on my own,a trip to Wickes was included to see how much railway sleepers were.£26 sorry muggins here is not paying that,i later found a saw mill in Wetherby via my chromebook search a much better price. So i popped in to a cafe ,then i caught a bus to Aldi, tonight it is a sarnie with black pudding and pork pie :hyper:.Bus back home .and back in to the friggin routine.I am sorry to put it like that. But i am struggling a little.

I think you will find there are a lot more than two separate co op companies just on the food side of the business. 😀

We got life membership - after a few years it is cheaper than single years one after another

So did we, about eight years ago. Paid for itself easily. We’ve now visited 72 properties around the UK

We joined NT. Stayed in for 2 years and made good use of it. But once you've seen everything in striking distance that's it. One of them is about 20 miles away and made a good target on some of my rides.
Mmmm....wife is Scottish too, but made the snap decision in Wales.
Her Dad got a Scottish one many years ago....got a sly comment made in some English House when they checked in....when he opened his mouth with his broad Scots accent, they soon shut up!!
We thought about a lifetime membership...but it is a big lump, & we will perhaps waver to English Heritage one year....

Hi folks :okay: well that was good...actually managed to get a ride in, not a long one [24miles] but certainly blew the cobwebs ^_^ got lots of waves from local traffic like they were pleased to see me...perhaps i represented a sign of warmer times to come ie emerging cyclists are like emerging spring bulbs and heralds of better weather!
