Alpkit restructuring seems to have worked.. They're still in business.

Not so great if you had shares in them though.

Morning all.
I could've sworn i heard a Welsh woman just then. Nah, not possible at this time.
Decent sleep was had, still having tbh.
Whats on today ?
I am sorting out prior to decorating and new carpet etc. There is loads of stuff that Sue accumulated that does nothing for me. Some I can't bring myself to discard but being realistic most must go.
Then......I am thinking, only thinking of trying another carpet shop. Part of me thinks I am happy with the one I have visited but part thinks I should at least try a 2nd one. I will see how I feel at 10.00 when they open.

Good morning from a rainy Dorset. Not a lot planned, yesterday afternoon I assembled an IKEA metal rack to go in the shed, folded metal construction so not the most sturdy but good enough for its intended purpose. My Garmin has suggested a 1 hour run this morning, it's handy to have a reminder to exercise as it plants the seed even if I don't act on it. In other news Mrs Tkk discovered a puddle of water under the sink on Friday, the replacement water treatment capsule that was fitted over a week ago had developed a tiny weep. The ever useful takeaway container came to the rescue before our plumber came and reseated it. I've ordered a couple of inexpensive water leak detectors, we have one in the loft under the CH water filter. That one's a bit more sophisticated as it monitors the temperature too. The new one's supposedly have a 5 year battery life so fit and forget.
Have a peaceful day folks.

Morning all :hello:

This morning I shall start making a towbar for my ride on mower; will be handy being able to drag my small mesh garden trailer around.
Mates are coming round at 12 and we will be walking up to the Railway Inn (weather permitting) for Sunday lunch.
