We have blue tits round here - I see them in the garden quite often

The bloke next door has some bird boxes up - one in the tress behind the houses and a few years ago I saw some blue tit coming and going
then I saw a Spotted Woodpecker there and that was the end of the blue tits!!!
the hole was enlarged as well so I assume the woodpecker found the tits and pecked his way into the box

before that I didn;t know those woodpeckers attacked small birds!

I didn't realise that GS Woodpeckers would attack baby Tits. I had to google it. Your comment is spot on (no pun intended).

I didn't realise they were inflatable, I thought they were rigid like surfboards.
I see your point.

This is the advert that convinced me I needed a paddle board

I know - Initially I thought the woodpecker was trying to expand the hole so it could use the box itself after the tits had abandoned it
but then I looked it up and was quite shocked!!!

Glad I didnt see any details - seeing a Sparrow Hawk eating a pigeon under the holly bush while the pigeon was still kicking its leg was enough!!!

I agree but that gives you 3 options.
I used to take my sit on top to Anglesey every other week. It meant fitting a roof rack then lifting the kayak up and on. Difficult then-impossible now.
A question for @numbnuts ....what's it like for deflating and repacking ?

It has a large pump and they say it can be pumped up in 8 minutes to 20PSI
but I have a eletric pump and can do it in a lot less, also both pumps have a
deflate option were the air is sucked out for repacking.

I have seen people on the local canal pumping them up with a foot pump - until I saw that I just assumed they were solid!
