I've just serviced my sewing machine, last time I used it it was making a clunking sound, not loud
but still there all the same and needed more pressure on the foot pedel to get the motor moving
so gave it an oiling, it runs as sweet as a nut now and very quiet too, I really should do it more often.

I came across the Stanforth hand made bikes website yesterday. What beautiful things they are. If I had the money I'd get one I think.

I just had a look at their range, some exceptional bikes in the range.

I think I have developed the ability to see things in slow motion. Decided on a couple of slices of fruit loaf. As I was taking the tub of spread out of the fridge I was left holding the lid while I watched the tub fall and do a complete rotation before landing right way and skidding across the kitchen floor. Quite strange as everything seemed to be in high detail and time seemed to slow down. Fruit loaf was very good BTW, M+S " Luxury " 😁

Well, that was a waste of a day thanks to the weather forecasters.
Was going to go out for a nice walk on the Quantocks.
They forecast heavy rain all day, yet it turned out quite nice.
Why can't they be held accountable for the misinformation they spread?

We went to Newtown today and bought 3 pear trees, 3 apple trees, 1 plum tree and 1 cherry. All bare root. We have plenty of room for them. We might buy some more.

I ordered something from Amazon the other day and apparently today it was delivered......to somewhere in Crawley London . I don't live in London, I in fact live in Wales. SHEESH. Someone who has a blue door has my order

Why can't they be held accountable for the misinformation they spread?

To be fair the weather system is so complex the various forecast services are just probabilities using various models. The Norwegian Met Office have a free app called " Yr " which is very good indeed. The Met Office have just refreshed their app which is a lot clearer. I have several weather apps on my phone, I tend to trust the one that offers me the best weather 😉
