Good morning all, it's a cool start to the day, 5⁰ and of course it's been raining overnight.
I would really like to do some work in the garden but it is much to soggy to do anything.
More domestics, take Millie for a walk, and either a session on the turbo, or if I'm lucky I could get out on the bike for a bit.

It's quite a thing round here. I know a few younger people who travelled to Turkey to have the work done. A huge risk in my view.

The teeth stand out like LED lights compared with halogen!
Our daughter showed us a photo of a couple who is in their circle of friends. They've been to Turkey and both had " Turkey Teeth " she looked ok, he'd gone the full monty, looked like he could navigate after dark. One of their same circle of friends is a Dentist, our daughter said " she p*ssed herself laughing " when she saw the photos.

I remember being bedridden and quite poorly with " Yellow Jaundice " when I was a child. Might be a relative of Scarlet...
Yes, Mrs P is a midwife. I hear about this from time to time. Jaundice in newborns is common and generally harmless but not always. In older individuals it is often a symptom of an underlying, more serious condition.

I'm hearing the 18 month old is under the weather but the five year old only has a sore tongue and is bouncing off the walls as usual!!! She's lively to say the least. Mum is very poorly and in bed with something else. Both parents work from home.

I was there on Tuesday. My son looked totally frazzled and the place was in chaos. I really want to help, we both do, but with Mrs P's health the risk is too great.

Good morning. Wet, sleet, cold.

It's a treatment day for Mrs P meaning I will be busy around town running errands and an Aldi dash. Later this afternoon it's my PT session which this week includes a weigh in. I'm not expecting a positive outcome.

I should think about tonight's tea but I'm lacking inspiration. Suggestions on a postcard to.......

On the other hand today's crosswording with the Guardian was inspired. All right bar two that I couldn't see for the life of me.

Time for some u3a admin.......

Told, try the co-op deal. The choice includes salmon encroute or steak. There are a few chicken dishes and at least on veggie.
I am nipping to Aldi and the co-op on the way back.

FYI It takes exactly the same time for our soft-close toilet seat to close as it does for the cistern to re-fill after flushing..

Is that a slow seat or a fast cistern ?

Morning all :hello:

Yay! Fish Friday! :hungry::cheers:
Off down to the harbour at lunchtime for refreshments and having fish & chips delivered tonight.
Got someone coming over this afternoon to buy a Dawes off me, so I'll have to get it out of the garage and give it a wipe over.

I can't decide whether to have fish and chips, or a takeaway curry tonight, I am torn between the two. Whatever, there will be no cooking tonight.

I am developing a system.
Going to bed i leave the seat up. During the day it's down.
I wonder if I can get a remote controlled one

You need a one that detects what you “need” as you approach the toilet, and, automatically selects the correct seat position ie no 1 seat up; no 2 seat down. 😂
