Good morning, it looks chilly but I haven't been out yet. It's Tuesday so #3 will be coming for the day, as it's half-term her sister #1, 5½, will be coming to. She is a bundle of non-stop energy, doesn't stay still, talks constantly. Today is going to be wonderful mayhem!!!!

Presuming I survive this I'll head over to #2 son's house to finish off building the IKEA cabinet this evening....................for the moment let's just say yesterday's putting together didn't quite go as planned...................I went home and sat down with a large whisky before I spoke to Mrs P to express my overall entirely unreasonable views on IKEA furniture!!!!

Pancake day!!! We have two granddaughters for the day. One has an allergy to cow's milk, she can only have oat milk. The other also has an allergy to cow's milk AND sometimes gets eczema after drinking oat milk so she has coconut milk!!!

Today's burning questions are:

Can pancakes be made with non-dairy milk substitutes?

What are the chances of Paul getting the different pancakes mixed up? 🤔🤔🤔

Decent day weather wise. Hope to sneak in a ride if I can.
Wife has had to go to London solo as I'm on Dad visiting duties. Waiting to see what hospital say again today.

Bright sunny but cold on the riverside. Just watched a martial arts display by some robots in China on CNN. Don't know whether to be impressed or terrified.

Nicest morning we've had this year; clear skies and sunshine.
I've got to fabricate a couple of engine stands first thing and then we're walking down to the harbour for lunch at the Star.

Done a bit of DIY. Need a section of skirting board replacing, so have cut and mitred some new wood size. I've painted the bottom edge to reduce moisture ingress from damp carpets (spillages, wet shoes not being removed, etc) and over the weekend ill affix it in position.

Then finished rubbing down the Volvo front bumper and got the first coat of primer laid down.

Now lunch.

I need a sit down, just reading that.

Did my grad study on him. All for a certificate in Latin no one understands.
And I no longer remember or understand what Gödel was on about.
No use at all when trying to fix a puncture of get the gear change adjusted.

Short swim today due to knee issues... Don't want to knacker it totally..

Caught the No 17 omnibus both ways instead of my usual No 14 there & No 4 back.

Smart move that'll give The Watchers something to report and wonder about your motives.

Walked and fed the cousins, who've retired upstairs for a post prandial nap on my bed while I enjoy a coffee.

There is a woman skater called Lollabrigida. Her great aunt was THE Gina Lollabrigeda.

And she just won her 2nd gold.
