Looks like a PJ day. Howling wind and heavy rain.

G'day cobbers.
Went to bed early and fell asleep ok but woke with a touch of the gavroches.
So, typing as loud as possible to wake everyone else up.
Weather forecast is weird (if it happens). It starts OKish but by lunchtime the wind is supposed to reach 43 kpm. BBC weather just says 43 so I assume its kph as against mph ......I hope.

Morning all.
It's a grey start to the day here and the breeze is getting up. It is forecast to blow around 40mph later on today.
I have to go out for blood tests at the local hospital, I won't be cycling today though.
The gas man/women is coming this morning to service the boiler so I have to clear a space in the utility room to allow clear access to the boiler.

In my post is said that wind speeds of 43 are forecast but doesn't say kph or mph. Are you sure its mph..... that is VERY strong and a bit scary.

Just googled it and it tells me mph. As I say, that's very strong.

Bonjour mes braves, I start in French as, in common with M. Gavroche, I too have been suffering with a " delicate " stomach. It accompanied my lurgy and is still lurking, albeit in a much reduced form. Silver lining? A kick start to my weight loss regime, although my reluctance to stray too far from the house has meant that I am not exercising as much thus negating much of the benefit.

I now have a mental image of Dave as Serge Gainsburg and Mo as Jane Birkin lounging on a beach and bickering about the comparative advantages of tubes vs tubeless as the sun climbs in an azure sky...
