Tell me..... in Oz do they use FB a lot or is there a more widely used thingy.
Reason I ask....... my Bro has been working hard at our family tree. We had an uncle (Dads brother) that emigrated back in C 1920. In the 80s one of his daughters (our cousin) got in touch with our Mum but being the awkward person she was, she binned the letter.......and that, as they say, was that.
We have his name, date he emigrated, the ship he sailed on.
Our efforts got us nowhere.
To your knowledge are there any avenues we can explore?

IMO Facebook is a waste of time.
Try putting geaneology search Australia in your browser and checkspelling of geaneology before you start, it doesn't look right as I wrote it..
