As long as not purposely taken for a walk won't dogs self regulate in hot weather? So if in garden and it gets too hot won't they simply find shade? Assuming said shade/cool area available.

To some extent. The problem I have is that Geddy is a puppy and and hasn't yet learned to self regulate properly. He's also black, which dinnae help. And being young his endurance isn't a patch on Bruce's.

They can have the run until maybe 2pm, then at the peak they can come in and enjoy the AC. Normally theyd also have a lunchtime walk, but its confined to moderate walks early AM and late PM until the hot weather has passed.

Sunny here but a nice cool breeze at the moment.

Muesli etc breakfast and two coffees consumed and have put some supports up for shade netting ready for the heatwave.

Will have a look at the rear tyre on the Stayer AllRoad which keeps going down randomly.

Also on today's agenda is paying the gas bill and will try and get some pics of the folder.
