Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Coooeeee. 16 deg and a bit breezy.

Talking of self checkouts. I prefer them easier and faster and I don't have to stand in a queue waiting for someone who wants to talk the 10 minutes and takes ages to get their money or card out, then takes aged to fill their bags.

Aldi self serve check outs are brilliant.

Stay safe peeps :hello:

Good morning all.
Refreshingly cool at the moment, but due to reach 27⁰ by the afternoon.
A day of weeding and pottering around the garden I think is in order.
Now drinking tea and listening to Tony Blackburn on the radio. :cuppa:
Enjoy your day everyone.

100% with you on this. I was in Booths yesterday. One served checkout open. The lady in front of me had a lot of shopping. She let the girl put everything through, then started packing her shopping, stopped and started the full on rummage for her purse, which she eventually found but no cards in it, more rummaging for her phone as the cards where in the wallet section, then it's decision time, shall I use the pink one or the yellow one? She pays. Hurrah!!............and then carries on packing

By this time Paul is stood with arms folded fixing her with a steely glare from behind....................I was out of the supermarket before she reached the door!

Nearly 5 mile wander done.

Just having a decaf while deciding what's for breakfast. I think I'll go for omelette with mushrooms and tomatoes and maybe a sprinkle of cheddar.

Just back from walking the dogs. Bruce is good as gold, and generally Geddy follows Bruce's example but today Geddy was seriously pulling on the lead for some reason and something has gone twang in my back. Central onnthe spine, roughly level with the lower edge of the shoulder blades. My back is now a strange combination of the numb and painful.

Sunny this morning with a nice breeze.

Yesterday had an early start to get the train to Naaridge for a pootle up to Cromer as a recce for the Fridays in August with LucretiaMyReflection of of here aka Claire.

So it was up at 5:15 to get Coffee, breakfast ,a quick shave etc before heading down to the station.

Nice pootle about and not too hot until it got quite muggy as we got to Cromer although obviously it was cooler on the front.

Couple of pics from the end.

Two Fairlight Farans and Cromer pier;
