I take it my directions were more or less ok then? IIRC once you're past the community centre and into the field you can just about see it in the distance.

Yep, thanks. I checked my trusty OS map but it's not to clear how the footpaths traverse the M1.. Could have been messy!

Done walking, it warm now 32c
