Just had a thought. If the sun is going to almost disappear around 7pm it might help keep the house cooler.

It'll be the last near total eclipse any of us see as I think the next one is over 50 years away!

Saw the last one when I lived in North Wales
Saw it from the sea front in Beaumaris - complete with eclipse glasses

Today's plans

AgeUK thing this morning - hopefully no more ambushes with a camera!

then I have to swap the washing line hook as the current position means the Gazebo/ballroom/hanger is in the way

then the low gutter at the front needs clearing

Oh and washing needs doing

might get half of it done

I'm probably banned from bikes due to the heat

Morning, I feel 😴 as I had a crappy nights sleep.

Morning all.

Breakfast and coffee downed and washing up done, also did a bit of watering and putting up shading to help things through the next two days.

Otherwise a chilled day trying to keep cool although it's ok at the moment with a nice breeze, doubt it will last though.

Got to go out AM to the tile shop, got to phone Lloyds bank as theyve effed up my access to the parish bank account and ai cant authorise the Clerk's pay. What a palaver.
