Well I have been for my memory test

score zero

which is good - means I got nothing wrong
won't say anything about it as knowing the question etc defeats the object

apparently my blood pressure is OK as well - I told her if she had done it when I got there it would have been high (white coat syndrome!)

Did you think you were having memory issues or was it just a routine thing?

No - memory issues
silly things like having far worse problem remembering names

getting confused about multi-tasking and forgetting one of the streams
such as making a cuppa and if I also tidy up and put dishes in the dishwasher while it is brewing then forgetting to take my wife's through

nothing serious - but lots of little things

and as my Mum died of dementure - and so did her brother
then I would rather check things out now than discover it later when it has done more damage

BTW - no actually sign of anything from multiple scans - but since my "episode" January last year things have been worse so this was a starter before they can refer me to the Memory clinic


Oh - and I'm getting good mileage out of the "have you had a memory test yet" - "can;t remember having one" type comment
which amuses me

all female so far!!!

Just remembered something

Yesterday I was playing a game on my phone and it came up with an advert for an app

It showed a rather steamy session between a man and a woman - nothing "on show" and just the start of "procedings" in an office and a kitchen

and the text said "just send up picture of two people"


err - what??

so if I send you a picture of any 2 people - lets say Dave and Weshie just as an example - and it will make a porn film of them???

maybe only a soft sort of film - but the "possibilities" are that it could go further



is it just me or does that seem more than a bit dodgy??

especially as it was just a normal block puzzle app and not anything aimed at adults or anything like that!

We are always very discreet and keep everything secret.

I sometimes forget stuff around the house, but more because I get distracted.

I think I have quite a good memory. I was next to a man I occasionally meet on my walks the other day at the checkout and asked if he was still in the town or sold his house. He had told me around 6 months ago that he was thinking about moving. He seemed a bit gobsmacked that I had remembered.

I, like most I reckon, usually start with 1's. Sometimes I go with a different number, 9 is a favourite, but never a 5! 🤷‍♂️
