Well that's me finished following the Vuelta Espana, for now. Stage 12 Calar Alto was my last stage. It was lovely up there just above 2000m so a little cooler mid to high 20's and down to teens at night the total opposite of the last two days, high 30's through the day and only dropping to mid 20's at night, very uncomfortable. I've now taken myself to the Sierra Nevada mountains to Hoya de la Mora just above Pradollano (2500m) to get away from the heat and have a bit of a rest before dropping down to Granada for the final two stages.

Tres excitement while I was snoozing. Seems there was a big smack on the main road - how people can come that badly a cropper in a 30 zone is beyond me - and the air ambo landed in the field by my gaff.

Mrs D didnt wake me as I looked so peaceful!
