I used to trim my beard short then let it grow to about a foot long then trim it again, but these days I keep it to a shortish goatee.

I got my winter cycling gear out from retirement earlier, ready for what is to come.
Going to Tesco this morning as Mrs G's contract with Vodafone is finishing tomorrow and she doesn't want to renew it as it is too expensive. She is hoping to get a Sim only with Tesco at a third of the cost.

I've had a Tesco unlimited sim for a number of years as they are one of the few companies that still allow you to use your full allowance abroad and as I normally spend 5-6 months a year traveling around Europe. I find it well worth the price, also I can spend 3-4 months of the other 6 traveling round the UK. I just wish the UK cellular network was half as good as it is in Europe, this trip I was at the top of the Sierra Nevada mountains and had a 5g signal and earlier this year I went here,

a deserted village and yes it had a 5g signal. My father lives just outside the Edinburgh bypass and I'm lucky if I can pick up a phone signal let alone any sort of internet access on the phone.
