Just been reading an thread about funerals on some site or other

and it reminded me of my wife's nephew's funeral
he died young which revealed a genetic problem with his relatives now have under control

anyway - he was a joker and loved doing daft things and making people go along with his daft schemes
but one of those that never did it if it would make someone look or feel bad in anyway
basically a nice bloke

anyway at his funeral - clearly very sad thing and all that - and in Skem, which we do not know very well
so as the herse and everything was leaving his Mum's house was were told to follow "Mary in that Range Rover over there"
OK fine - saw her in the car - unusual colour car so no problem
so we set off and kept her car in sight

only lost sight of it going round ONE corner but then all was fine

followed it through the town - we had no idea where the cemetery and everything were so we just followed her

until she pulled into a nursing home that we had been to to see anotehr family member - and we got closer and realised it was not her

as I say - not the most common car around and an unusual colour
and we had followed an identical one

If anyone ever asks for evidence that there is an afterlife and the "departed" can have an effect on those left behind
THAT WAS MIKE!!

it just was

bar steward put that damn identical car just there
partly because his Aunt was always one to laugh at him
and partly because I had not know him for long but we always got on well
but he had never quite managed to get one over on me

git was determined to do it and go us good!!

everyone at the "do " after the funeral (that we missed) was laughing about it - his Mum was trying to cope with laughing and crying and crying with laughter all at the same time!

I asked Michael Carrick which god to pray to. He said he's tried them all and none of them work

Strange state of affairs. I thought he did quite well last season but this season it is a nightmare for him.

A dismal performance against Spurs allowed you to go one place above us. Grrr!

For some reason I am struggling with maintaining interest this season - I have tended to go up & down a bit since the Americans bought us. Plus the xG goals thing drives me batty! Too statistics focused!

Spurs Chelsea was a strange game to watch. You would be excused for thinking their positions were reversed.

Maybe he was overrules by the paryers coming up from Liverpool??

after all - everyone knows Jesus was supposed to be born in Liverpool
They found some Myrrh
A bloke on the corner got them the Gold
and a nice vape shop down a back street found the Frankincense "in the back"

so the Angels went back to God and asked what do we need to find next

so he said "Only one thing left - go back down there and find me a Virgin"

Only recorded incident when Angles told God to **** off and it was changed to Bethlehem

sorry
