I’m thinking of making a recording of our tumble dryer in action. Then I’ll play the recording back over the loudspeakers a couple of times a day so the neighbours will think that we’re minted 😎

I don’t have a tumble dryer.
Must be lunch time I think. A tuna and salad baguette with a cuppa for me.
Still cold and dreich out there so not sure I’ll be back out. I might just read.

I’ve just watched Mrs Caldicot’s Cabbage Wars. Thanks for mentioning it @PaulSB Enjoyed it. Although it was amusing, it is sadly true how the elderly are viewed and treated. Makes me angry. Everything is geared around young people now. I was just reading a local news story about a lady my age with asthma who had been in hospital a couple of times for chest infections, and they had stuck a DNR notice on her records without asking her or her family. Bloody scandalous. Life is precious whether you are 8 or 80.

Comparing my time with the Social Services at the LRI and the process of assessment as member of the multi disciplinary team T ensure the needs of the service users needs were paramount
Times changed and the team were no longer required as the private sector took over placement and provision of home care service’s

Bloody wet stuff again. At least it’s milder I suppose. Not much enthusiasm for getting out when it’s dismal but I’d better do something.

Good morning from a cold and frosty Coventry, frost round here yesterday never cleared all day and we've had a heavy frost over night, I've also had a full nights sleep for the first time for ages thanks to our friend paracetamol.
