All my stuff is Apple so I’ve stuck with Safari with no problems.

I’ve got Safari, Brave Browser, Startpage / Duckduckgo / and Firefox on my iPhone/ iPad / MacBook ( although they all use the same “ Webkit “ rendering engine underneath)

They are getting really stupid now. Wrong type of plastic indeed!!

A couple years ago I was at the tip, sorry recycling centre, and got told off for putting my old bike tyres in the skip marked tyres, "we only want car tyres in there mate", but it just says tyres and they're tyres", no, car tyres only", then he walked off before I could reply.

Usually around 12.30 but most of us stick them out early unless it’s really windy and there’s a chance of them getting blown over. I noticed on my walk that the areas that have already been done, some had the red stickers on refusing to take them so they must be having another check to make sure we are not putting stuff in that isn’t recyclable.

No black plastic allowed in our recycling

I've been for a bimble this morning, my Good ladies carer was here unexpectedly early, quarter to seven, so it give me a
chance to get out, I was supposed to be doing a yoga class but I skipped class to ride my bike, I did my Brinklow loop and rode 24 miles, it was cold and foggy for most of the ride, I had to use my little flashers, they're not very bright but better than nothing, I was nearly home before before it completely cleared, Coventry was busy about nine when I left home but once in the lanes it was nice and quiet, I'm still seriously unfit and slow but it was a better ride than last time, about half way round my breathing and heartrate settled down a bit, it was still a bit high but not as bad as my last ride. I cant say I enjoyed that but it was nice to feel the saddle under my a**e and the pedals under my feet.

My pension is going up🙂.
You may recall me saying I was notified I was due a pension from an unknown company......part of a massive multi national.
I still don't know which company it is as the payment come from the multi national and I am not going to rock the boat by asking.
So its now £1855 per month.....not bad for something I knew nothing about.

Brilliant.

That's a very decent pension to not know about!

Cloudy, snowy, grey and windy through the weekend. Then the weather may get nasty. Still there is youtube yoga, therapy routines with stretchy bands, more work to be done, mostly pricing, for my seller's stall and perhaps a little wallowing in self pity. Good at that. My neighbor across the street says most folks also enjoy a good wallow after weeks of grey, cold and windy by February. Although it gets plenty cold in the winter here, this one has been far gloomier than usual. We usually have sunny days over half the time.
Be safe and well.....

Barnet,
Good evening all.
What a damp and dismal day weather wise. A bit different from the 20⁰C temperature I've experienced for the last week.
Several loads of washing has been done, and nipped down to Sainsbury's for some provisions as the fridge and the fruit bowl were looking rather empty.
Sausages, jacket potatoes, cheese and baked beans for tea tonight. :hungry:
