I quite fancy trying Ostrich. I see Aldi stocks it. Supposed to be very low in cholesterol.
Another little walk done as it’s so nice here. That’s about 11.5 miles for the day. Met a woman I know on her Cube gravel bike and had a go on it for a few hundred yards. Nice bike.

I'm not having any luck today, just been told that the gas/electric rebate will take 10 working days before it's put into my account,
I wonder if they would wait 10 days if I was in the red.

Picture the scene if you will. Three mature cyclists stop at a nice cafe. Said cafe welcomes cyclists, has a special, bike racks, table service, etc. 👍
Cyclist #1 "Bacon and egg barm with red sauce on the side. Flat white, please."
Cyclist #2 "Bacon and egg barm, brown sauce on the side. Americano, please."
Cyclist #3 (Paul) is by now helpless with unexplained laughter. Head in hands, chortling away he eventually manages to order sausage barm and coffee.
A few minutes later when order has been restored Paul explains. It's the thought of three sweaty old cyclists, dressed head to toe in lycia, ordering barm cakes.............and requesting sauce on the side which comes in a little ramikin.............
Was very funny to me at the time........
