Just got back from walking the dog.
It's now lovely and sunny, and not that cold.
Now time for a mug of tea, and then off on the bike to the shops.
It's also time for a haircut as the Barnet is getting a bit unruly, so a stop at the barbers in the mix.

By george its cold outside. I've just put some washing out don't know if it will dry completely or not.

I've got sheets on the line, I may have bring them in later and stand them in a corner.

Granddad got out of bed and immediately felt utterly nackered. He made Nana a coffee and let it be known he felt terrible. Nana got up and did all the stuff which needed doing. Granddad slept till 1.15pm!!!!

Granddad now feels fine. Weird, I was completely wiped out at 6.00am.

I have just fed the birds.
This loss of balance is a barsteward.....just reaching up to hook the containers made me fall twice.......fortunately managed to grab the main pole.

Modern bar tapes can be a little inflexible not like back in the day .If we taped the bars it usually have been with adhesive tape.Taping the bars takes a bit of time and care.Very satisfying when you stand back and admire your handy work

I’m sure some of senior citizens will remember when the first plastic bar tape came in.The end of the bar tape was secured by melting the end with my dads fag lighter and holding the melted end against the wound tape till it set

The biggest problem I had or did have was getting those last bits of the tyre on the rim,Not any more though since I discovered The Tyre Glider
