Good news to every one: winter is officially finishing next Tuesday. Looking forward to a warm and sunny day on Wednesday then.
The downside is that I will have to start cutting the lawn again.

Good afternoon. Warm and grey here but we've a 95% chance of very heavy rain at 7.00pm.......just in time for the footie.

Been a bit of a rush since 8.00. Drop the car off for its MOT, walk home, straight out again for a u3a committee meeting. Our next door neighbour just knocked on, they have a skip with space to spare......... I'm now off to fill the skip for them. 👍

I've just had a quick and lazy lunch. A packet of Mexican style microwave rice and a Ginsters Moroccan pasty with a generous sploosh of Biona brown sauce. Cuisine!

Haven’t bought that for a while. They are rather tasty and handy to have in the cupboard. If I remember, I will get a few sachets next time I’m shopping.

There's one called " Firecracker " which is very spicy. Another favourite is Coconut rice

Had all 3 Grandkids all day
They all slept pretty well and didn;t wake me up until 7
which - as those of you who appear on here at ungodly hours - will realise is rather early for me!!!

But they were really good
or at least where until the baby (2) got tired and refused the idea of a nap so just got more and more grumpy and wanted everything NOW

Finally fell asleep in the car on way to their hose when their Mum got home from work
which is way too late - just hope he sleeps OK for them tonight
well eitehr that or he doesn;t but they don;t blame us!!!

anyway - nice to have them around
but don't tell anyone I said that so I can keep moaning when I get volunteered!!!!
