Lovely 6.4 mile walk done out and round the loch and back. There was a lovely low mist hanging over the water today which would have made a nice pic, but I didn't even have the phone with me. Just the usual wildlife bobbing about. Few swans, geese, moorhens, etc. The beaver must have been back at the trees again. The one that was chewed at the base the other week was actually lying on it's side with all the bark chewed off now.

Good Morning. :sun: what is this thing? Feeling highly motivated. Blue sky, white cloud, 12⁰, not much wind. I've done a white wash, hung it out, prepared a cauliflower, broccolli and pasta bake for tea along with a special treat for Mrs P......................Angel Delight...................she will be 67 this year, not 6! I shall have to dash as I'm meeting a buddy at 10.30 for some local hill climbs. It's 50 minutes ride to his place so I need to crack on.

Have a good one, I'm hoping to.

:hello:

I didn't even know you could still get it. Lord knows how many e numbers are in it. She will be acting like a 6 year old after eating it.

Just had a look and they seem to have removed most of the nasty e numbers. It now says no artificial colours or flavours. Almost tempted to try it, but better not after complaining about my diet!

Started young, and still going.
Location
Barnet,
Good morning from a wet and rainy Barnet.
The dog has been out, and we are drying off.
Today me and my mate are off to the Booze on the Ouse ale festival in St. Neots. We are getting the train up there and back. One of the escape committee members lives there.

A tale of woe -
I left it until now to tell you as I did know how it would end.
Last Wednesday night after taking my metformin tablet I had indigestion which is common, so I thought nothing of it and went to bed, at 22:30 I felt Moby dick and brought up my cup of tea, I felt better and went back to bed. Around 23:00 I was up again, but this time there was blood in the vomit, not a lot, but blood al the same, in my self I felt OK with no pain, but very concerned that all is not well with my insides.

A quick goggle “blood in vomit” - Medical Emergence Dial 999.

As I did want to make a fuss and have to spend 12 hours in A&E and I did not want an gastroscopy which freaks me out to say the least, I went back to bed.
In the morning I was fine, but I delayed breakfast and just had a banana and a coffee to see if that was OK and I did not take my metformin tablet as I think they are causing the bleed.
Later I felt fine and made my chicken curry pies and at 12;00 I had me breakfast scramble egg on toast with black pudding and mushrooms and again I was fine.
I don't know what caused the bleed, but I may have an ulcer and the metformin has made it worse, but today Friday I feel fine so fingers crossed it stays like it.

salut. After taking Molly for a long walk this morning, I looked at the sky and it was all blue with a few white clouds so I decided to go for a ride as my last one was one month ago due to winter weather. Anyway, I pumped up the tyres on the bike and as I was doing it, it started to rain heavily. :cursing: It is now sunny but with some threatening black clouds too.
I think I will wait till tomorrow and re-assess the situation then.
In the meantime, I have ordered some dog clippers as Molly needs a haircut as I am not keen on spending 30 pounds every time she needs one.

Well - SWMBO's birthday today so initial panic when I remembered I hadn;t wrapped the presents
Luckily she always gets up several hours after me so that was OK

Sunny all morning until about 15 minutes ago when the clouds arrived and they have now started raining on us!

Anyway - did manage to spend all morning with all the back doors and windows open to air the hous a bit - it was warmer outside at the back than inside anyway as the house is pretty much South facing.

Lunch has been done - next meal is out for 'her' birthday
just need to decided whether to risk getting a taxi or drive and not drink - probably taxi as there is also an Irish band on at the pub for Paddy's day
(Mother in law seemed to have a thing about giving birth on Saints days - bloomin' Catholic Church!!!!)
