Went upstairs at 10.30 because I was nodding off.
Got into bed and couldn't sleep!
Worst nights sleep I've had since I don't know when.
Got shopping to do this morning, then I've got to build another king-size bed for our bedroom in the annexe.

The house needs cleaning. My buddies can't ride today and mentally I had already set aside today for chores. Poor weather is a bonus!! My Cervelo got absolutely filthy on Friday and I must try to give her plenty of TLC as well.

BIG NEWS! My Tuesdays are now fully booked until at least autumn 2028. #1 son and partner are pregnant. Grandchild #2 is expected in October. They told us yesterday, Mother's Day. 👏 Very excited.

Small victories. I post a lot of routes for club rides. Saturday the group got incredibly lost. I got stick for a rubbish route. I was very peeved as Strava showed the entire group missed a left turn. I remained silent. Sunday nine people rode the route without comment other than "great route, excellent cafe." I smiled quietly.

Morning all and welcome back Drago.

It’s a grey start here in Coventry and rain is forecast .

But we are off to that well known tourist destination of Northampton lol, as mrs exlaser wants to go there today.
No not to buy shoes ( it used to be the shoes making capital of the country ) but to buy boat bits and northampton has the only chandlery in the midlands . In fact the next nearest ones are in Southampton or Norwich .
I am not complaining as I am sure I will fine something in they that I must have . Plus we will probably stop and have a English breakfast at the vintage retreat, something we havnt done since out our daughter left uni in northampton .
