Good morning. It is beautifully sunny. I have been awake since 3.00am. I am so envious of the people out on the club run. We have small person coming for a sleepover, her parents feel they could do with a weekend off.......................I don't recall that luxury from my child rearing days. Very much looking forward to this though I know we will be utterly nackered by Sunday night. We are collecting her at 11.00.
Think you all know I'm a u3a member. There is a Facebook group. This morning one lady in the group, clearly over 70, is absolutely incensed, raging. She has posted a rant referencing the news item from the BBC that the over 70s will soon be required to take a driving test every three years. "I've been driving for more than 50 years, I've never had an accident, nothing wrong with my driving, my eyesight is excellent, etc." You can imagine it.................................clearly she hasn't looked at the calendar today!!

I have bought 2 little spider plants. Only Diddy ones. Hopefully I can manage to grow them instead of killing them.
I used to have a big spider plant at work that someone else left behind when they got another job. I did manage to keep it alive surprisingly enough. I will keep you all informed of bill and bens progress ( if they lives that long) of course.
