Salut tout le monde.
I contacted the double glazing firm that fitted the doors 8 years ago for a price for replacing the two faulty locks. The robbing b***ds wanted 598 pounds including VAT for doing it. I then phoned the locksmith who let us in last Thursday night and he quoted me less than 200 pounds for the same job. Needless to say, he will be doing it and I shan't use that double glazing firm again for anything.
The locksmith is from the old school of charging a fair and honest price. He told me he really resents those greedy firms taking advantage of people by charging exorbitant prices. He is definitively secure in my phone book now, just in case.
Apart from that, we have decent weather today.
