Must be a slow night. I’ve just watched Miss Marple.

Well - it appears that new new en-suit works

had a shower before dinner and the shower and everything works fine

did take a while to work out how to make the overhead rain thingy work and then how to make the hand held shower thingy work

I presume there are instructions somewhere - but who needs instructions!!

if I was being suspicious then I might suspect SWMBO let me have first go so I had to figure it out and then could show her so that she doesn't have to work it out for herself
but that would be cynical!!!

A quick hello before we are collected to go to hospital.
I mentioned somewhere that we are going to the frailty clinic so they can 'try' and find out why we have lost all our strength and 'if' they can do anything to help.
We shall see.
Edit
Sunrise from our house.

Been in a few hotels/ B+B's during our travels, our last one had a conventional/ rain shower head which I eventually worked it out (turn right hand control away for conventional, towards you for rain shower )
Living in a very hard water area we really notice the difference when we visit somewhere where the water is soft.

First day for Mrs Drago in her new job as Director of Business Operations for a group of local schools, basically responsible for the buildings, payroll and all non-teaching staff, so tres excitement for her.

I get to take Mini D to school, then I may do the grass if its dried out enough.

Forecast is frost overnight so will bring my tomato plants inside at some point today.

Barnet,
Morning all.
It's quite sunny out there at the moment, but it's not going to last though.
Got to drop one of the cats at the Bets. this morning for a scan. Not cheap, but fortunately insured.
Then I'm going swimming at the local leisure centre.
It's my son's birthday today to so we are all meeting up at a local Turkish restaurant this evening.
That's the plan for the day so far, of course it could all change.

It'll land on it's feet.

Morning all :hello:

Rain forecast today, so it's indoor jobs for us. MrsD's sorting out her study and I'm sorting out my workshop.
Everything in the garden seems to be going well, apart from my chillis - having no luck at all this year.
Our new sofas are being delivered on Wednesday and a new tallboy for the bedroom today. Just waiting on our new coffee table and a bedside cabinet.
Had a phone call from an old work colleague, yesterday, to let me know that they were finally retiring. Hadn't heard from him for at least 18 years. Nice to catch up.
