Hi not too sure what I'm going to do today.

Good evening. It's been a beautiful day here in the Lakes. I'm currently at Buttermere YHA were we have a room for four for £40 - try saying that after a beer. Breakfast is all you can eat for £9.95.

We've been up Haystacks today. A good and challenging walk and Wainwright's favourite. His ashes were scattered at Innominate tarn at the top. Stunning views down Buttermere water and Great Langdale.

YHAs have moved on since I was last in one. Small bar with good selection and a restaurant serving decent basic food.

I'm cream crackered so time for 💤💤💤

I have just cancelled my Strava subscription Price has gone up.I’m no paying for something i only use infrequently.

Every now and again I think about cancelling it completely. All the stats I get on Garmin Connect are more than adequate.

I've never bothered with Strava, I've never been competitive, I cycle for me. Same as Mo, I'm on Garmin and it's fine for me.

I don't pay for Strava so I use it for free, the stats it gives me are enough for me.

We ended up with southern fried chicken strips with cheesey hash browns all curtesy of Iceland ( the shop not the country)

Another little wander done. 25,000 steps before lunch Really pleasant out now and getting warm. Needed the🕶️ on.

A cold chicken pasta thing for lunch with some little cherry tomatoes.

I don't use anything, never have, I've got a computer on the handlebars that gives me speed and distance and thats all.

I used to like having a go at some of the segments, but I’m too decrepit now! I do still like to check how I am doing against the same age group. If other users have switched on the fly-by setting it’s fun looking to see who they are and where they have ridden or run.
