Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
My car has been in the garage for a week. It's taken them that long to get round to fixing the suspension spring on my car.
When I picked it up, a sensor light came on. Apparently when my car was on the ramp, they turned the steering wheel back and forth and it activated a sensor.
The man at the garage drove it to the nearest lay-by and back again and it righted itself. PHEW. I don't like other people Messing with my car. Lol

Talking about best friends only one I stay in touch with.Alan Mrs p sisters husband I class as my best friend .We meet twice a month going to Stoke and they come to us.
Two years ago we had a call from Jill .
Alan had been rushed into hospital and wasn’t expeted to live He did following emergency surgery He now has a colostomy bag which he calls his bag for life.
Mrs p has a lot of really good friends and showed what good friends they are on MrsP diagnosis of ovarian cancer and the support post op
At my age I have attended to many funerals.I’ve told mrs p when my time comes she should come on the retirement thread to advise of my demise.⚰️⚰️⚰️

I have risen! 1st!
Morning all.
Trying to get back to normal as best as poss so I will do an Aldi dash at 0800. Not much I really need but have decided to do a slow cooker curry so need a few bits.
Bro, SiL and nieces** are coming later.
**one looks a proper lady, the other has (wait for it) loads of piercing and tats PLUS a bright pink mohegan. Interesting.

Cooooeeee. Its a bit cool here at the moment. I have some washing in the machine.
Its been around 6 or 7 weeks since we did any shopping as my car was broken, so today us shopping day.

Hello. Grey and cool and only forecast for 16 today. So, what's happening? Not a lot. Small person needs collecting in an hour or so and I'll be heading off at 8.00 to do that. Till then I'm popping up to the allotment to tie in my tomatoes and water them. Exciting? Eh?
I have a strange and continuing headache. Mrs P isn't concerned, I am but I'm hanging fire on visiting the GP.

Morning hope the day goes well for you all
Morning all. Sainsbury's have done another delivery just before 8. We normally only have them fortnightly , but we were running low on a few essentials, plus our son is calling in this afternoon after work, so he will want feeding.
It's cloudy and cool outside at the moment, perfect walking weather, so I'll be out for a longer walk with the dog later.
Plus a bimble on the bike after that.

Morning all
Very enjoyable afternoon spent lounging in the orchard with our best mates.
Lots of barbecue and drinks consumed, Keith and myself managed a gallon of local scrumpy between us.
Everyone stayed overnight and we shall be walking down to the harbour after breakfast.
