Night night all.
The funeral went as well as you can hope in the circumstances. A life well lived was celebrated in a way she would have approved.

The Prisoner is a great sixties series but just don’t bother watching the last couple of episodes. All the good writers had left by then and Patrick M wrote the last episodes himself. They are rubbish . 😀

Good morning all. The dog woke me up at 0515, barking and carrying on. So I went down stairs to investigate and the was a murder of crows dancing around on the roof of our kitchen making a awful racket, sounded like they had hobnail boots on as well. So,
Wordle, wordhurdle, metrodle, heardle, quardle and sequence quardle all completed.
Today is supposed to be wet and stormy, it was raining last night when I came home from another retirement do, 4 more of the guys I worked with have left the iron road. Nearly 175 years of experience between them.
It's nice to meet up with the old faces now and then.
My daughter is calling in at some point, apparently it's another one of those marketing days today.😄
The grass was cut yesterday, and my tomato plants finally were planted out, I'll get a late crop from them.
Dog walking, hopefully before the rain comes and then well see what the day brings forth.
Enjoy your day everyone. :cuppa:

I wouldn't say that they are rubbish, but he did admit that they didn't know towards the end, how to end the series.
I watched it when it came out in the 60's, and again when it was repeated in the 80's.

This may sound strange but I class this with Monty Python. All my mates (and half the world) raved about them but try as I might they did nothing for me. Must be me!!

I enjoyed some of Python at the time but don't find it funny now. I never got The Prisoner at all even though we watched it every week.

On the subject of telly is anyone else watching "Best Interests" on BBC 1 with Sharon Horgan and Michael Sheen? It's the story of a family whose daughter has a life-limiting condition and her parents battling the hospital recommendation to withdraw treatment.

The BBC at its very best.

This comes as a relief........a fellow addict as I'm on Quordle, Sequence Quordle, Squareword, Waffle, Clickword and Wordle!

Squareword drives me round the twist. Hate it. I always complete it but usually in 8/9 goes, only four times in 6. Really drawn me in as I have to keep trying. I can't find a method.
