2nd and 3rd load of washing done and drying on the line.

Steak egg and chips today think.

How else do you think they get them through the letter box?

Had a busy day.

Over to daughter #1's am to collect keys as she's off and her hols and ive got to let carpet fitters in next week.

Then home to trim my hedge and cut the clover.

Then Mrs D got home, she'd been out in the Volvo with the roof down so I gave it a quick clean.

Had a chippy tea. Quick shower then Corrie.

The gas man's beeneth.

He arrived 2 hours late and was only going to change the one meter, even though we'd contacted the energy company to explain that one wasn't working and the other one was a dumb meter and needed swapping.
After much face playing he contacted his 'control' to authorise the 2nd part of the job.
He fixed the one meter then had to shoot off to Minehead for another job - promising to return later this afternoon. Yeah....right.
Well, he did turn up and changed the dumb meter for a smart one, so now everything should be working properly.
All we have to do now is wait for the (almost certainly) over estimated bill for the house - which we will have to contest, as we live in the annexe and hardly use any energy in the house.
It's been a real pain getting this lot sorted with our energy company, which advertises on the basis of how brilliant their customer service is.

I am not sure I am liking this getting old thing.
Yesterday everything was fine , we had a lovely picnic and a walk at Rutland yesterday .
This morning, I get into the car to go to the sailing , everything is still fine. I get out of the car and get a back spasm . Bang goes all the things I was going to do , in fact it was so bad I couldn’t even do my shoe laces up 😂😀.
Now back home feeling sorry for my self hoping the anti inflammatories work.
Hope everyone has had a better day than me.

Been hobbling around all day with a numb left leg.

No idea what I have done. Went to bed and fine. Got up, not fine.

Had a long walk planned for tomorrow (Thurs) but will be doing a shorter one instead and see if I can walk it off.
