Crikey, is it nearly 3:30 already? Mrs TKK is having a snorefest so I've decamped to the spare room after lashing down and securing any loose objects that may be affected.

Morning. Up with the larks as usual…..except they’re not up yet as it’s barely light out. Checking all the forecasts and some say rain and some don’t so not sure what to wear when I go out soon.

Another enjoyable evening of athletics last night then I noticed Shadowlands was on BBC4 so watched that. Seen it before but a while ago but enjoyed it again.

Morning all.
Another bitty day of jobs I don't want to do.
The cleaner will be here 10.30.
Daughter is coming for lunch......I think I have decided on quiche and chips, easy and tasty.
There are things I need from Aldi.... I am trying to psyche myself up for that.
Ohhhh i forgot to strip the bed and put it in the washer....will go and do that now.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Outside is 10 deg. Inside is 14 deg. We are expecting a high of 16 deg here today with rain.

Where has this late heatwave gone then...

Good morning all,
Dog walking soon, and then there is a meeting of the escape committee at the Black Horse today. More upmarket than the Ding Dong(Wetherspoons). But obviously more expensive. But they do have a good garden to sit in.
The weather looks good today, sunny with a bit of cloud at times. 19⁰c is the top temperature.

Done all the normal chores one has to do, I'd like to go out but not too sure if my mechanic will come today, he's a good guy, but time to him does not exist it will get done when he is ready and not before, if it is not done by the middle of next week I'll have to find a moblle machanic to do the job as it can't be started.
Years ago I would have done it myself, but car were more simple then and easier to fix, why did they have to make them more complicated.
I have a delivery of a new pair of hiking shoes today.......(God I'm sounding like @Mo1959 ) as the last pair I have worn out, I'm very heavy on the heels I suppose it's the way I walk and I've only had them 5 months too.
