Morning. Another chilly start up here. Last quoted temperature at nearest weather station was just 6 degrees. Another nice day ahead though.

Might need a light jacket on for my walk soon.

Morning folks Parky here too, will rest the old legs today and do some gardening/general tidying/weeding. It is beautiful this time of year especially with the tourist ******ing off! I used to go fishing for late season mackerel off Cromarty pier about now as it was peaceful and there wasnt a risk of getting a miscast spinner whizzing over ones head

Morning all.Was in a deep sleep and woke 'with a start' at 0630.
Haircut booked or 10.30.......my son is getting married on Saturday and I want to smarten up a bit.
1300 I am out for a pub lunch with fiancé of a woman I have known for many years. A nice guy.

Good morning folks, I've tweaked my back so I'll be trying to not do a lot today, its been good this year, hasn't troubled me much at all so this is annoying, we'll be out to lunch later, my Good Lady was in the house all day yesterday so it will be good to get her out.

Not much to do today apart from packing my overnight bag.
We're off to our mates place near Cheddar tomorrow for 2 nights.
Our mates from Minehead are coming here tomorrow morning and then we're all going in one car.
My next-door neighbour is off to Spain tomorrow for 3 weeks, so I'm keeping an eye on his place whilst he's away.

I had already tweaked my back before I evicted the spider, and I didn't have to hunt the thing it was sat on the mat thats in front of the fire, I think it thought it was disguised by the pattern on the mat, all I had to do was drop the upturned glass on top of it.

I needed my porridge this morning. That was quite a chilly walk. Put my Arc'teryx thin fleece on which is perfect for this weather. It's very thin but tightly woven so keeps the chill off.

Just the riverside trail this morning.

I binge watched the last 2 episodes of The Tower last night which I enjoyed. There's Diamond League athletics on this evening for a couple of hours so that will be this evening's watching.
