Mini D to school, walk Bruce, music practice, work on my book, collect Mini D, two house viewings. Busy day.
Good morning folks,
Rained really heavily last night, I could hear a distant thunder storm. I noticed condensation on the outside of the bedroom windows, and when I came downstairs all of the north facing windows were opaque with condensation on the outside.
A few more chores today, Mrs TKK arrives home mid morning tomorrow as she's catching the Caledonian Sleeper from Edinburgh this evening and I have to make sure everything passes inspection 🤔

Good morning from a damp Coventry, we had a major storm last night, thunder lightning and torrential rain, woke me up about half three, I was wondering what the noise was then realized it was the rain bouncing off the roof, its started to brighten up now.

Boy did we have some rain yesterday!
Main road into West Somerset was closed in 3 places. Minehead was cut off and flooded. Butlins closed for 4 days to clear up the mess. Even the railway was shut due to flooding in several places along the line. All clear now though.
I'm off to Bridgwater this morning to buy a new motorcycle helmet, gloves and boots. I dug my old stuff out of the cabinet they've been in for 23 years and it's all falling apart. Time for new gear!
MrsD's said she wouldn't mind having a bike again and she's been perusing the new AJS Cadwell/Tempest range. I might treat her for her birthday.

It's always busy at Minehead Butlins. The town would be dead without it.
